on the afternoon of october 16, 2012, director of the standing committee of hongkou district – yan jianping, member of the standing committee of hongkou district and deputy district chief – zhang xiping, and deputy director of the district standing committee – li hengwei, liu haijun, bao jianqiang, hua dongping, accompanied by director of kongkou science and technology commission – yue zixing came to dobe old commercial house 1973 for an inspection. the vice-president of dobe, wan lijiang, led the team to welcome them.
under the introduction of mr. wan, the lineup led by director yan successively visited the quintuple waterfront platform, central garden, “previous and present” and other highly distinctive attractions in the old commercial house 1913, learnt about its long history in detail as well as the design and transformation on this 100-year ancient building dobe makes with same importance attached to preservation and innovation. this lineup also read the tabloid, debo gathering, with great interest and affirmation.
through inspection all the way, director yan indicated that the district culture and originality office faced with heavy task in the transformation of old district, making it necessary to maintain the initiative of form construction, spatial expansion and industry promotion.
